Celebrating 30 Years!
Nevado Mountain Adventures is passionate about finding new gear. In the off season we scour the market to find equipment that is innovative, cool, and just plain fun. When the snow starts flying we start driving by bringing our 20 foot heated trailer, city of tents, toys and the team of gear experts to resorts from New Hampshire and Vermont to Oregon and Washington.
On a typical day Nevado will put several pieces of equipment into the hands of countless skiers and riders, giving consumers the opportunity to try something new. In turn we will send people into the retail store with knowledge about what they are looking for. We’ve got everything – from traditional alpine skis, snowboards and telemark equipment to outerwear from a variety of manufacturers. You can check out all of our products in our gear section.

Nevado is the ultimate win-win situation – for skiers & riders, manufacturers, and resorts. Consumers are anxious to try great gear on their own terms. Manufacturers want an expert team making sure skiers & riders have a positive first touch with their product. We have the experience, the relationships, and the know-how to make it all happen. Nevado classroom is the educational arm of Nevado Mountain Adventures, LLC and provides a learning experience to demo visitors about consumer-oriented programs. We also work with manufacturers that are interested in educating consumers, retailers and ski area staff about a variety of topics.

COMMUNITY
As part of a community effort to get consumers outdoors, Nevado works hard at bringing new blood into the snow sports industry through a variety of youth outreach, student internships and employee training events. We have an active JAG program (Jobs for American Graduates) at a local New Hampshire middle school. We are also working on partnerships with the VA to introduce America’s veterans to all the career opportunities the snow sports industry has to offer.
Every year we hold our annual JAG (Jobs for American Graduates) event with middle school-aged students. For the past five years, Nevado has provided this unique program opportunity to join us at a ski area so kids can see and shadow the different jobs Nevado and ski areas provide. They help our team set up and break down the event as part of the training. We have had a beautiful group of kids who are engaged, excited and interested. In more than three decades of operation, JAG has delivered consistent, compelling results – helping nearly three-quarters of a million kids stay in school through quality entry-level jobs leading to career advancement opportunities.
